egr/dpf stuff is bullshit. you have to put def in your pickup truck now and everything. stupid fucking epa is killing diesels.

Well the cummins is still def exempt. The system somehow snuck under the limitations with just an egr and dpf filter.

However, it'll be interesting to see if this new motor will follow that same trend

I'm not sure what point you are trying to prove? the 1500 is still a part of RAM, and both companies still very much so work together on literally every aspect of their vehicles.
