I mean I get they don't want people to get stuck and freeze to death but deving ban is dumb

i think the larger issue may be they have more snow then room to put it, and to add any amount of cars to the mix before it's fixxed just makes it that much longer a process.

The driving ban is not stupid..... The penalty is.

It is so much easier for trucks to plow without cars on the road.

Think about all the accidents that would have occurred along with cars getting stuck.

Well that's what I ment , the penalty they should have had the trucks out during the night . Not just after the snow is done. I imagine that's how they did it so it shouldn't be to bad

Plows have been working since yesterday. We have almost 2.5 feet of snow here.

Plows passing my house are driving at speed limit 45mph. They can't lift a ban per town, that's just tedious.


Jail time is silly, a fine would be fine but not $500..... $100 makes more sense. They wanted people to take the ban seriously

you have to give your workers a break sometime. also theres no point in wasting salt when you are getting feet of snow and its covering the road as fast as it gets plowed. also people in cars just tend to drive extremely slow in snow and cause more problems by impeding the flow of traffic anyway. they need to stay at the house where they belong.
