Apparently first gens may have issues with the fuel level sender (for the fuel gauge) And it's an easy fix if so.
Also have heard of a couple water pumps going out around 70,000 miles, which again, isn't a huge deal to change. And it's part of the routine maintenance.
Other than that, most people say they love em.

The only other obvious future expense I see is tires, and brakes, but that's to be expected with a heavy vehicle such as this.

As for this, the vehicle came with actual receipts from a reputable Springfield mechanic listing that the vehicle got a new trans 30k miles ago, brakes less than 1k miles ago, and the manufacturer's fix for the fuel level sender a little over 1k miles ago. Also, it's got some high end directional watertreads that appear to be very nearly new. I don't know if the water pump has been replaced, but she runs dead on 80 degrees celsius at all times.
