R8 lambo ferrari or w/e is priced at that price point because the money to engineer the chassis light and strong, and also STREET LEGAL.

obviously light chassis does more on cornering than anything since drag race needs torque and horsepower more than anything. Weight is sort of neglected after wind drag kicks in at high speed.

One example is 1300hp TT gallardo or 1200hp GTR does like texas mile at 251 mph but on a track it does worse lap time than stock Gallardo and stock GTR lol.
