You can do it yourself, but you will need to take them to a shop. Because you do need a special tool to take off the springs. I didn't have to pay anything for this service, because the guy that did it owed me a favour.

You can get them cheap at Harbor Freight for like 20 bucks....Or rent them ;/

Yeah, I generally get the loans from o'reilly or napa... full refund when you return it. There's no downside.

anyone with working internet and access to an auto parts store can easily install everything themselves, hell I just replaced all the springs on the mustang a few months ago and it only took a few hours. Not like I knew exactly what I was doing. That's why you have the internet :)

Can be I guess... Worked fine for me, but then I read instructions (Thus the reason I rarely say tl;dr... reading can save your extremities at times.)
