Every truck has its ups and downs no way around it.
I just look at it as why buy a truck for a decent engine, weak trans, front end, not a fan of any of the body styles

I prefer powerstrokes, but for sake of argument use chev,

a 6.6 proven engine with a proven transmission, and a great riding truck / nice looking truck
