I'm fine with it until they knock into my mirror. If you allow it, you're not only allowing the smart cyclists to do it but the dumbass ones as well. I do it only when I know I have plenty of room. but it seems that other people can't judge that space. I've had one guy scratch my window before and another knock into my side mirror.

Like this guy stated, many riders aren't going to be accustomed to it. I've done hours of track time on bikes so I would feel that my judgement on space is a bit better than the average rider. But at the same time I still don't feel like it's a smart thing to do in slow or fast moving traffic

99% of street legal whips wouldn't be able to catch a literbike.

I don't know...for some reason I don't envy those people in the slightest...flying by me, completely enshrouded by aluminum and steel with various safety devices designed to protect me in the event of a crash, on their mechanical beast with absolutely no protection from the elements, foreign objects, absolutely no safety restraints or devices, going faster than I would ever dare even in a car....Dunno, I guess I value my life a little more than that. You need Russian blood in you to want to do that shit.

I would never do that on a bike lol, way to dangerous. I was saying id do it in my car, which i have tried doing before, got to about 130~ and the bike punched it and was out.

This. I think I should be allowed to do 105+ on the four lanes in my car when I'm in a hurry, but then I consider all the idiots who would try it and not be prepared for the curves here in the Ozark Mountains... So I'm against it, but only because allowing the good riders to lane-split is allowing the shitty kids to do it too.

you should always assume that the motorists around you are idiots and dont know what they doing. that keeps you looking all the time and can prevent accidents. i would not want to ride a bike in traffic around major cities that takes bravery (or stupidity whichever you prefer to say lol)
