The "cheesy red scoop vent" is a butterfly valve for a blower....
Opens when you hit the throttle.

Yeah i know what it is. Unfortunatrly it just doesnt make it "look" any better. Maybe thats just the blue ones? But, Like I said, most definitely a blast to drive. My personal preference as a rule though is "less is more". I never cared for the decals that came on thr Raptors either. Superchargers are sweet and all but personally I think the added red detail does nothing but make the car look cheap, which is the complete antithesis to what the Saleen name brings to Ford. Its nit picky but I know what I like I guess. :P

TL;DR : the red must make it flow better? :lol:
