Simple

left = 300hp - 600hp
right = 150hp - 250hp

It looks like a 240sx/silvia downpipe so i'm sure hes stepping up to a bigger turbo.

Don't think he's upgrading the turbo.

Tuned properly with the turbo supporting mods, a fmic on a vf39 will do well and have similar turbo lag

This is the exhaust side, imagine that little flapper welded shut (or wired shut in some cases) to use an external wastegate.
