is it ok if I still drive? will only be able to go to the garage on thursday since all is closed tomorow and i cant call off from work on wednesday. Everything is working like it should be its just hella hard to turn the steering wheel

Well.. It will squeal if it is about to come off. I'm not terribly convinced that is the cause of the problem though. It should only be one bolt that you need to get to in order to tighten it. On some engines the alternator moves, others have a specific pulley.... Just gotta move it out a bit to get the slack under control.
It being super difficult to turn the wheel....not sure if that caused by a loose belt. Unless ofc it has some how came off one pulley and not the rest? Sounds more like you're low on power steering fluid. Does it make a noise when you turn the wheel? like a whine?

i can clearly see that the belt is off. This part u can see on the picture is well in place but underneath is off

pooped the hood with the engine still running and the belt isnt moving

i pulled out my strap and laid some busters down once

this is not normal, your tension pulley may be loose or your belt is really worn, chec your pulley first, make sure your alt belt is still turning if you wanna drive it anyways, and in french its couroie, strap cest notre cerveau angliciser de quebecoi

If the belt is off, dont drive it. You wont have any electric after a minute of the alternator not charging, and none of your coolant will be flowing because the belt turns your water pump too.Take off your panty hose and make a strap out of that.

a coter genre pas sur la pouli? c ca ton probleme, slak la tension pulley, rembarque ta strap comme il faut, serre ta tension pulley pi va au napa tacheter une nouvelle courroie
