Are you sure the S2000 is more expensive to insure? When I quoted one it was relatively cheap. If you can afford to spend the extra money and you don't need the extra room/seats get the s2000.

I was told Honda's transmissions are so-so, so it really doesn't matter. (From what I've been told)

But those were things I've heard from word of mouth...so don't take my word for it.

My Accord (automatic) does make this clanking sound from time to time when I shift gears but I still love the shit out of my Baby.

rsx type s 6 speed is also bad, has 2nd/3rd gear popout

I understand and am aware of all the problems the Type-S has. Especially the Tranny. Sucks how they know the problem is there yet, barely put in any effot to fix it.

What are some of the problems/issues with the s2000 as I don't know that much about the car as i do about the RSX.



Waste of money. If I was going to do a swap, I'd buy a Datsun or a Celica (1970's) Instead of buying a perfectly fine car with a F20C and swapping the engine..

Just like any car it is all about how you take care of it.

One of my dads friend bought an 06 type-s off the lot and is now at the 220 000km mark without any trouble.

Car is mint and he babies the thing but he still drives it fucking everywhere for long trips. I wouldn't be overly concerned with the issue unless you can tell the person you bought it from beat on it.
