i use road ranger. my car runs like the wild horses pictured on their pumps when i use their gas

yeah well kwik trips fuel is so shitty, that in order to keep people coming to get their fuel, they put a guarantee on the fuel that if the fuel causes any damage to the motorthat they will pay the repair bill if you bring in a receipt from an auto shop for the repairs.. its posted on every pump at every kwik trip (theres 1-2 kwik trips per town usually / 3+ for bigger towns)

i use kwik trip gas often enough and havent noticed any real difference in mileage or performance.

As they already said it all comes from the same regional distributor. The additives are different. If you get bad fuel it is the individual station's fault. Old tanks in need of cleaning, poor maintenance, and condensation build up are up to the owner/manager to resolve.


Also slower pumps usually means better filtration especially with diesel. The big rig pumps at a truck stop are the worst.


Moral of the story is only buy from newer stations that do high volume and don't fill up when the tanker is there.
