those tires look like pizza cutters. I dont think I would defend them on a car built to handle well. Wider and stickier >

Wider and stickier would make sense if you're looking for good quarter mile times on a mustang, this is a small sports car, you've never driven it and clearly don't have any valid input. I'm not saying the tires are the greatest, cause they're not, but wide sticky tires would ruin the fun/spirit of the car.

You are buying a catch can for looks?

Nice.  Shopping list window stickers must be next.

Never heard of replacing hardwear and radiator piping with a color themed set? Not saying silicone radiator tubing is useless, nor the catch can, but the benefit is small and its more to dress the engin***..

I've heard of it. The only people that I see color match and theme their engine-bay are people who NEED the parts they are replacing the stock ones with. Then again I don't hang out with any import guys anymore. If you want to spend a few hundred bucks on a catch can and color themed radiator piping be my guest. It's your money. Don't be surprised if you hear people chuckle when you pop the hood though.

Actually I am somewhat torn apart for the tires. I just drove it a couple miles on my break and I do enjoy the feel the tires give around the corners. Maybe I'll test drive one of the other FR-S in our parking lot, as I know at least one of them is modding his and may have already swapped the tires out..

This probably is most ideal I suppose.

I didn't say that I was trying to dress up my bay, just that if I got a catch can that would be the purpose it'd be serving. I woupdbt change the hardware unless I had to or I was showing the car and wanted to rice it.

Just do all your research over a period of time, read about and talk about what other people have done as far as wheels/tires and when you actually need to replace them, do it with an educated decision.

Throwing money away on wheel and tires the moment you get a car is for hood rats.

This. The car and suspension are based around those tires. Wait till they need replacement to replace them.

Well I wasn't going to make any of these changes now. Not to mention, living in the city, I have no garage and the HOA is a bitch about doing anything car related... So I would have to bring it in my parent's house which means after Christmas would probably be the first time I would be able to really work on the car.

Perrin Exhaust seems to be very favored at FT86.com

First cosmetic mod would be clear side markers....kind of pricey for what your getting. Personal preference really.....doesnt look as bad on the hot lava as it does on the WRB brz.

Everyone here is saying tires.....the tires aren't so bad and they were put on the car for a purpose, to give the car more unpredictably ....drive it for a while and get used to the car before changing the tires.

Intakes are priced fairly.

Turbos are out, but I would wait a while if you plan on pursing that.
