I'm going to buy the eyelid pieces, but they only come primed. I need to paint them myself, or take them somewhere.

I'm not talking about painting the headlights directly.

I didn't notice any kits on that site, just individual products. I had picked those 3 products out as the ones I thought I'd need.

I'm assuming 12 oz aerosol is going to be enough. In your opinion, is this paint decent enough?

I'd say if you're going to use a spray paint. Go with a high heat paint. Like the ceramic engine enamel. That's probably the "best rattle can" paint I've had experience with.

And yeah, you'll DEFINITELY have enough to paint those two pieces with 1 can of paint.

Just remember: Multiple lighter coats ending in a medium to heavy last coat is the preferred painting method. Don't apply too much too soon. Wait approximately 20 minutes (depending on temperature) between any heavier coats.

The hotter the painting space, the better.

And don't forget to sand them first. 320 wet is my choice.

The quality of the finish is dependent on the prep.
