Ya but I really cant beat the disc brake 14bolt for $150 complete. My buddy works for an Orange County electrical company that services alot of stuff in the forest so they have to have alot of 4x4 trucks.. He comes up on all kinds of gg parts when they upgrade the trucks.

Still not sure if I wanna just toss some gears up front to match the rear or possibly start working on a SAS or building the IFS to my liking. For right now I will prolly just toss some gears up front, keep it open, & be easy on it until I have the time to build it right.

What size tires you runing again I forget

seriously bro

FUCK NON FULL FLOAT

i bought my 14bolt with 4.56's a detroit, and chromo shafts for 450$ and im putting a disk break kit, (120) and a pinion guard is from Ruff Stuff(60) and the new 1350, u-bolt style yoke is(50)

and i will never have problems with it ever, the semi float 14bolts do have known issues with the carriers breaking and bearing issues

Yes by far the full floating is stronger & for sure my plan in the future but for now im only running 35's & a tired 305... Dont think im gonna break it to often. Once I have my 350 built, tranny, transfercase, & front end I will get a FF & toss good axle & gearset in it. Btw I have six lug currently & it would suck have 8 lug in the rear only.

& ya I hear those tires do work ;p

Haha how did I know someone would say something about his welds.

They're not terrible; especially for a DIY home jobbie. There's a little bit of cold lap on the top, but the side closest to the camera looks pretty decent; no undercut, decent penetration based on the shape of the bead. I've seen way, WAY worse.

if by shit you mean they penetrated and didnt warp the material around it and i haven't ground them yet, sure

but if you would like i can stack dimes on your face all day or you want crescent moons? i can weld very well, and i would like to see some of your work

edit also for your information it was a 110 welder and i had ran out of gas so i was using flux core

ill find u some pictures of the pretty stuff i have done

hopefully with my 5150's and devers in the rear it will flex a bit more, but then ill have to trim a little
