Should i put a turbo timer on my sti 2018 ?

I dont know much about turbo, any tips is welcome

Any other thing that help the longevity of my sti ?

You could just not shut it off hot. If you got it to just drive around normally you don't have to worry about waiting to shut the car off

If you've got the money to burn go for it. Otherwise playboy is right if you race it around town or beat on it in general, wait about 30-45 seconds before switching the ignition to the off position.

No need for modern turbo cars. Advice for having a reliable sti? Get rid of the stock tune and go for a dynotune with minimal engine mods.

modern cars dont turn of the fan when the car gets shut down hot. only critical spot really is turbo bearing. if thats glowing hot and you shut of the car and therefor the oilpump stops too and oil burns on the bearing. do that often and your turbo bearing wont last long. just wait a minute before you shut of the car.

You make out like this guy is driving a 1 ton with a 20k 5'er behind it for 1500 miles.

You'll rarely get a car that hot on the street. Especially a stock car

maybe not that often in the US. im from germany. so driving some miles at topspeed gets every cars manifold glowing. already after a 0-180 pull gets it glowing.
