Demon was finally revealed. Looks like Dodge has actually addressed many of the issues with the hellcats on this new Demon. Even aside from the hype they have built. I'm pretty excited to try and get my hands on one.

TL/DR:
840hp
315 cheater slicks
9.65 @ 14x 1/4 time
Suspension / traction improvements.

Supposedly they shaved off 200lbs over the hellcat (pass / back seat lol ) So yes, I'm sure it's still ~4200 lbs.

Still a boat, don't get me wrong. I don't think this is supposed to be an auto-x car though.

4200 but it runs mid 9's because of the 2 step, transbrake, active suspension, and 2.7L blower. They are going to be extremely expensive but many feelings will be hurt. There are plenty of highly modded hellcat still in the 10's for comparisons sake.

Negative. They come from the factory with an extra set of skinny fronts.

I would be very surprised if these are any cheaper than the vipers. If I had to make a wild guess I would imagine they are going to be around 125-150k. Maybe more? who knows.

The only downside is these are not NHRA approved due to them running under a 9.99 with only a cross bar. They are also knocking on the door for a mandatory shute as well. IIRC its 150mph for nhra? Correct me if I'm wrong.

You don't seem to realize that this inst build for turning or weight. Its built to be a true muscle car. Id say it achieves that pretty well.

I agree on the Vette though. a C7z would be a lot more fun.
