i know i could go the ol oem route but that shit was too expensive given that the bike isn't worth a whole lot lol.

its a 2008 ninja 250r limited red but i have given up trying to find used/cheap fairing for the limited edition shit.

yeah but i couldn't find anything reasonable.

i only need the right side and front piece around the headlights but the only way to do that is go OEM which is like $400 a piece and nty lol

allways go oem is my route, even tho youre paying a heftier price. cheap sometimes more expensive, if that makes sense.

well yeah but tbh these are oem fairings and they didn't hold up to a very very minor drop so i dont think quality difference is going to really matter in the long run.

so assuming something crazy happens like they dunno where the bolt holes are supposed to go i don't really think the cheapness is going to matter much.

plus i can't find oem special edition fairings and if im not replacing it with the right one anyways my care cup empties lol.

Ebay

most distributors pay the money for OEM molds, than make a fuck load off of reproducing them.. Takes a little shaving some times, but for the most part they line up perfectly.

My CBR's fairings were DESTROYED, I spent 700 bucks on ebay on new fairings and ended up putting at least 1200 in value on the bike.

Most squids don't know they aren't legit fairing anyways.

yeah i mean this is basically just a less boring econobox to me. only reason im even looking is i won't be paying for them myself lol.

just seems smarter to get cheaper fairings and spend the cost difference on frame sliders

exactly.. Invest in some good sliders or a frame, imho I'd rather have a fighter anyways.
