so it snowed today (its still snowing) and the road going to my mom and dads the first hill was a sheet of ice. over an hour before i tried going up it in my car and got close to the top, backed off almost put my car in the ditch because its a sheet of ice and said hell with it and went home. my mom was coming home from physical therapy and got stuck went to back off and lost control and put the back end in the ditch. here comes the state highway plow truck goes around her spins out and the truck turns sideways and the front bumper and plow hit the front passenger side of her car tearing it up. she just picked her car up last night from the body shop the same exact place got hit when a woman ran a red light and t-boned her car.

the plow truck driver was apologizing and said he would get in trouble because they were supposed to be chained up and i told mom thats exactly why they chain up so they can go up hills like that.

Thank god I don't have to deal with that shit anymore

time to sell it before it happens a 3rd time imo

plow guy is gonna get sooooo fired for his laziness.

i told her she might get lucky and they may give her some extra money for her troubles. he didnt even stop to check on her he just tried going right on around

the bad part is where she backed it in the ditch it didnt even hurt the car it was still fine until the truck smashed into the front of it.

karma'd hard then. too lazy to check on a fresh wreck and too lazy to chain he got what he deserved.

it would make for a pretty easy lawsuit if they wanna play games about any of this.

guy gave no fuck for life clearly otherwise he'd of checked the wreck and used chains on ice and no one sides with the asshole that doesn't give a fuck who they hurt with their bullshit.

there wont be any problems getting them to pay for fixing the car the state is self insured and the boss came out and took pictures and everything. clearly we took pictures too just in case. all shes really worried about is getting her car fixed i thought she was gonna cry because she hadnt had her car for the past month or something like that because of the last wreck and had it less than 24 hours now its wrecked again.

my dad had to stop plowing and get his pickup and come to pull it out then he had to go back to work plowing the roads again. he works for the county road barn.

Damn that is shitty luck to get hit in the same spot.

Hopefully after your mom gets paid by the county for their plow hitting her, she gets a better vehicle. Unless she won that garbage on Price is Right, can't imagine why anyone would drive a Chevy Malibu.

Yeah they should buy a fusion instead so the transmission can fall out of the damn thing at 30k miles. All cars have their issues but you sure love to hate GM in every thread. The Malibu is a pretty damn good car in it's segment as are many others.
