And going inexpensive isn't always the best idea. Like the two above said, pay a reputable dealer to install it.

My car cost $700 for a two-way fob install. It was expensive because it was a good range remote, two-way, and my car has a push button start with keyless entry. If your car is manual, it may also cost more too.
I wouldn't cheap out on the range either, it's dissapointing to spend the money and having the range cut short to the point where you would have to walk closer to your car to start it. i can start mine anywhere in my work building without any issues, and since it is two-way, it tells me if it successfully started or not.
I went for 2500 ft range compustar over viper but i forget the reason why. I think it was slightly cheaper.
