picked up a 93 caddy sls that apparently has dirt dauber nest in the cooling system.

a big fat one plopped out of the overflow when i had the cap off and the car was running and it started to boil.

whats gonna be the most effective way of flushing these things out of the cooling system?

Use an air nozzle and use tape/rubber/whatever to make a seal. Pop it with a little pressure after you fill it with water. You are going to be flushing for a long time.

It wouldn't hurt. Flush it both directions. Unhook the lines to the heater core so you don't blow trash in there.

I use a shopvac for coolant flushes.

Fill basin with water
Put basin under disconnected lower rad feed
Fasten vac hose to upper rad hose
Set that bitch to blow and let it run supervised for 5-10 minutes.

yeah i think ima go take some coolant to get tested so i can see if it did fuck it up. oil doesn't seem to have any issues though.
