I shimmed it, how about you? Yea stock nozzles, fuel system is untouched, just got a lift pump fass 150 titanium for better filtration.
I got headstuds, mcc tuning with custom tune and overdrive, built auto, had a water meth kit, but took it off so I can fit 3 dirtbikes in the truck better lol.
On my next truck I might go for more HP, but I'm at a 180,000 kms now, want the truck to last to at least 300,000km.
I tried mine shimmed for a while in the wife's truck but it routinely sees 28-30k psi in the rail with twin cp3's so I ended up making my own bypass. It's kind of ugly but it works and releases at just under 30k. I did have it plugged for a while but that was awful and I was overloading injectors.
If you have studs and a halfways decent transmission I wouldn't get excited about the longevity. You'll be fine. I don't think EGT's will be an issue either for that setup. If they are, just add the water-meth back in and run it.
With that charger and stock fueling you might hit 575ish on kill so you're really not stressing anything at that point. Some Spicer u-joints would be the last thing I would put in for peace of mind.
To give you an idea, the truck my wife stole from me is a '14 with a de-stroked 6.7L (6.7L block, 5.9 crank, and custom rods ~6.4L) big twins, lots of fuel, and all of the supporting pieces to hold it together. That motor made 1040 on fuel and 1166 on spray. That's running through a burnt out 4speed 47RE I had leftover from a workstock pulling truck. Loose bands and all and she's got almost 35k miles on that setup. The daily tune sits right around 790hp and 1500ish ft lbs on a cold day. If she hasn't torched that old 47RE with that power, her driving style, and 37's than either i'm the luckiest guy alive or you'll be safe.
