Was wondering if someone could build me a bill of sale that would include price of truck lien left on it amount and vin# my name and sellers name with info of where lien is too. Just a bill of sale that would hold up in court if he were to sell me truck and pay it off and try to keep it or something basically so I can't get scammed I'm meeting him where his lien is... And getting a notary to sign it to from bank.

No need for any of this if you are going to the bank where his lien is held.

Write two checks.

1 to the bank for the payoff amount and 1 to him for the remaining. The bank will give you a release of title form and you go to the DMV with that.

Well..its a life lesson and reality..you shouldn't ever trust someone enough to not back your own ass up if something happened, as chappy said. Especially if its something valuable like a car.

Scammers look for fools who trust them. When you trust, you tend to not cover yourself legally..and when that time comes, typically you get fucked.

I'm getting a notary from his bank, going to his bank with him. And doing 2 bills of sale? And cashiers check from my bank to his is that not enough legal proof?
