My budget is around 6k in zip code 44614. I have to buy from a dealer so I can get a loan. Looking at anything with 3 rows of seats that's not a minivan. I'm looking for years 2000-2007. Right now I found a 2005 ford expedition but I'm getting turned off of it due to common problems with engine and tranny. 4WD is a plus since it is ohio but not needed

Well it's me, wife and one kid with another on the way. So the extra space is for storage and room for more kids if that time comes

I know when I did it this way, I paid like 8.5% instead of around 4.3% but was nice to have the cash in hand. Plus, over 2 years, the difference was only like $300

Well I'm in a new job and my lack of credit history doesn't play on my side. Along with a lack of much of a down payment isn't helping so a dealer would be ideal

I went to school in Canton.

Are you having any of the common engine tranny problems or just wanting something new? Simply put if your vehicle is fine, because of your new job and lack of credit history......keep the Exped.

Not sure if any of these are 3 rows-

Did you Check- Ebay, Cars.com, Craigslist, Autotrader

If you want to be dumb- https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/671060499/overview/

The one I might Recommend- https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/664803016/overview/

If you can go over a little- https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/666009762/overview/

Also, don't be afraid to "Lowball" on the car. I picked up a Firebird from Craigslist for $1500, was asking $3000. Bought an Audi TT for like $8,900 was asking $11,900 (around those numbers, don't remember)

I personally would advise to only go 1 year maybe 2 years on the loan. The longer you go out, the more headaches you ask for. The payment might look 10 times better, but nothing would be worse than to have a $3,500 repair and still owe 15 Months on the car. Not sure how much you drive, I'm 65 miles roundtrip a day for work.
