Ive seen several 3LTs just over $50k and one 2LT for $47k from a dealer. Anyone seen anything closer to $40-45k?
$40k would be a pretty tempting deal...

Also, anywhere good to look besides CL and autotrader?

A 1LT 2014 auto could probably be picked up for cheap

It's possible. I've seen some for 40-45k range, but few and in between. I recommend waiting until July (that's when 2017s Z51's and Grand Sports start showing up on the lot (some 2014 owners will swap in their old cars to upgrade to the GS). On top of that, 2014s will be even further discounted as another "year has gone by."

Im not in a big rush to get one (although after the 1/2 mile drag racing later this month I'm sure I will be) as I just fixed several things on my Mustang and got some new tires.
I was thinking I should go with a C6 and try and stay around $30k but $40k wouldn't be bad, especially if I got a C7 instead.
Ill keep an eye out but try to be patient!

You are going to wannagofast in Clayton? Myself and 2 of my friends are running. 1 Saturday, the other and myself on sunday. That is assuming I reassemble my shit wagon and get it broken in in time.

Well damn. I've been to the last 3 events there. My friends and I book the entire Mountain Aire Inn each time. Every time we go more people go with us. I love 1/2 mile and mile racing. We got to know the guy with the white UGR Gallardo really well. He and his wife stay in the cabin across from us. Clayton is in a beautiful area. If you see my silver C5Z with a procharger on Sunday come say hi. We'll have a base camp just down from half track. I'll be spectating saturday.

Will do.
Ill either been in my red mustang or black jeep. Both super rare and easy to identify, I know.
Assuming the weather is decent it will probably be a topless/doorless Jeep day.

Clayton is a great area to visit, especially once its warm!

Your mustang will be easy to identify, He just has to look for the vehicle plowing through crowds.
