Sup guys, I got some money saved and about to get some new rubber for my 15x8's on the BroBeetle. Looking for opinions on what A/T's I should get. Looking for lower road noise, great on/off road grip, and ones that will last a while.

Ones I'm considering.
Yokohama geolanders (currents)
Bf Goodwrench a/t or r/t
General grabbers at2's

Looking for input, or other options :) thanks

I've heard a few people that say good things about the grabber at2's.

Never tried them personally.

I hate BFG's with a passion, but that's pretty biased.

Never heard anything about geolanders.

Are you running like a 31" or 33"?

I've heard the same, talked to quite a few people on the lifted car forums and most all positive reviews. And the price is right too

Haha, I know bfgs are hit or miss with people, my personal tire I hate is most anything Goodyear, they just seem like overpriced trash...

The geolanders have been great, very quite and decent grip. But they don't disperse mud or snow as well as others.

Running a 28 ish, around 225/75/15. Any bigger requires custom work to the fuel fill funnel on the beetle

I see you guys love those bfgs lol, just curious but what's the beef with them? We have them on our work trucks and I like them.

They are a great road tire. They last for fucking ever

However, The traction, ride, and durability of the sidewall is shit at best.

I had 8,000 miles on the BFG's that came on my 2013 and the sidewalls started peeling apart. The are HORRIBLE in sand. Very poor in mud/snow. Not to mention that they hydroplane like a bitch if it's even cloudy.

Noted, as with most tires I'm sure it varies with the size. The work trucks run close to factory size and its hard to judge the mud traction sense they all have utility body's and get stuck in everything lol. But I'm not a fan of the love or hate that is bfg... Literally no gray area and that makes me question some things, sucks because they look good too.

But honestly its the beetle so it will see far more road than off but still like to play in it. Not a fan of hydroplaning so thats disturbing...
