Anything I should know about these, esp reliability wise?

Wife wants a Chevy SUV/Crossover only
I like a Tahoe with the 5.3 but we have decided against it because of price and gas mileage for a one thats loaded

I want to get her a 2013 or newer Equinox thats fully loaded with the 303hp 3.6l v6 and AWD

They're nice cars. Severely overpriced at the moment. They eat oil like it's their job. Dont buy a 2006, 2010 or 2011. Some HVAC issues are common as well in them but they're nice little cars.

if you like the looks of the first gen equinox get the sport (formerly super sport). it has the 3.6 with 6 speed auto and you can get them in fwd or awd. my wife has a 08 equinox sport and really likes it. dont get first gen with the 3.4 (any other model than sport) because they are shit.

Don't go the GMC Terrain route. We have a 2011 that's a fucking lemon. My sister has the 2010 equinox and hasn't had a problem at all. We have had the Terrain in to the dealer 12 + times ( I stopped counting). Air bags sensor wont go off, stabilitrack is fucked up and generally not a quality product at all. Oh and it gets way worse mileage than you would expect for and ecotech 2.4 l motor. No power and only gets about 22 mpg. Thank the Lord I am blessed and only drive Silverados.

do not buy anything gmc right now they are a piece of crap atm. I have 2007 gmc acadia and I hate the fucking thing. 2 motors leaks like a son of a bitch

You realize that is 9 model years old right? That is almost 2 full model life cycles. The new shit is tits. 08+ has been great for GM. Sorry you got a bad one. My neighbor loves his acadia.

I love our acadia also. but you may want to ask him if it leaks. hows the transmission. hows the vvt motor. thing runs like a raped apped but do not miss 1 oil change at all. don't even go over on it. I mean this thing leaks from every thing in the car. the dvd player the windows the heat vents the sunroofs I mean everything.
