Pics of the second battery installation, I neglected to take pics of the tray as I mocked it up, I couldn't find any of the stock trays for sale and the out of stock items were priced at almost 3x the jegs tray I got, took some hardware and a little custom fabbing but it worked

Added 2/0 gauge power wire to the new aux battery
Added 140 amp alt
Added additional 2 gauge power wire to main battery
Added dual 2 gauge grounds to aux battery
Added additional 2 gauge ground to main battery
Aux battery is fused at 250amps
Added 150continuous/300peak relay between aux battery and alt (cuts off when car is off)

Here is where the current 1000w hifonix amp is installed under the passenger seat. This will be replaced with a 2/0 wire run to the aux battery and a 3000w pyle elite series and will eventually be relocated under the drivers seat

2nd picture is the head unit, which flows through a ton of colors or can be set to specific colors

the mess is ABC extinguisher, I had one in there and the pin popped out and the whole thing dumped

Hellwig helper springs, add an additional 2,000 pounds of weight capacity to the spring pack (or so they claim) and bolt right over the stock, really helps the saggy spring issue on these heavy suburbans and the company was excellent with their service

I also have Monroe air shocks in the back, adjustable from 30 to 150psi which really helps when towing a heavy trailer

Wish Algae was still here.

Would be a perfect thread for his "rearview mirror jumbo dice" line

I had a 105, upgraded to the 140....the 140 cost me $42 and I really don't care if I run it until it dies...

The amp is only to run speakers, I don't run big subs or any of that shit. The back of this thing is utilitarian, usually filled with mortar racks, remote firing system, and lots of other "fun" stuff, I keep snow chains and a come-a-long under the mid seats and the jack storage is packed with extra odds n ends, roof storage has first aid and emergency kit + solar power

I have lots of really good 6.5s and they give me solid lows, but no earth shaking bass in my rig....

The 2/0 was $2.10/ft so it wasn't a bad price and gives me room for future upgrades
