2006 ford Taurus

yesterday i was driving on highway and car died on highway <_<. its like the car battery got disconnected but the clock did not reset and the radio stayed on.

looking over it... battery is good and dont move around + connectors on battery terminals are tight and no corrosion.

autozone reads code of p1000 and U1900.

one guy at Autozone says its fuel filter. another says it terminal connection to the starter. A mechanic guessed without doing diagnostics a vacuum leak. i use to have a problem with vacuum leak like 3 years ago but its been fine since so idk if thats it... i havent done anything to the car (on thursday i drove 500 miles round trip... only abnormal thing i have done recently i think)

it starts and will run fine until the problem (as far as i can tell randomly) happens again. then i have to shut off the car and put it in park then turn it on again. SOMETIMES id say 50/50 it wont shut off... it will catch itself and go back to normal

please lmk what other info would be helpful

if its a leak take a bottle of soap and spray it around on the hoses. if you see bubbles you have a leak.

Just another scoomer, I say report him to his guild leader for refusing to pay up.

i did send fg... look in df topic... plz pm my leader and let him know... ill get it sorted out quick and then he will know i pay my debts which he already does.
