Hi guys, I used to ride dirt bikes when I was 5-11. Between those ages I had a CRF50r and then I upgraded to a Crf125xr or something like that (it was a 125 of some sort) anyways I now drive a Honda TRX700xx and it has quite a good amount of power. I put a barker exhaust/ kn air filter/ EHS Fuel Programmer for the nice add ons which made it way more torque and powerful. So I am getting bored of my quad now and I was wanting to get another dirt bike. I am currently 16 190 lbs and 5'10 pretty stalky. So I was curious on if I should get a 250cc or 450cc. I feel like I would get bored of a 250cc compared to my 700 cause it would be quiet of a power loss.. What do you guys think. Any of you ride?

450 to play around on

450 will beat you to death

You will be faster in the woods and on trails on a 250

A 250 will teach you proper riding technique.

We are about the same size. I've been riding 24yrs.

For the price difference, I'd buy a 450 and kill myself faster.

More seriously : WR450

More me : Was looking into a 125yz 2-stroke for this summer as "the angryness disapearer" or something like a 250yz that I couldn't have WOT all the time h3h3.

Don't get a 450. I'm finally to the point where I could probably utilize a 450, but I ride 200 + hours a year and train hard off the bike. I still see my 350 Sxf as the better race bike though. The 450 will fatigue you quicker and higher chance of injury.

Yes, and I do not want a 2 stroke bike.

I want a 450 or either 350 SXF like Slater has because I been looking at those and heard they were a pretty top notch bike. I wont do crazy shit on it for the first few months at least. Havent rode for like 6+ years.

I was either debating on getting a GSX 600cc or Ninja streetbike or a dirtbike for the dunes and riding around on (gravel roads) huge mountains behind my house. If I was to do any trail riding I would use my TRX700XX.

My buddy has a LT450 and I do not care for it. Rode it today actually, felt like it didnt have even as close as much power as my TRX700 has. Not sure if its the torque or horsepower but felt way weaker.
