Found a job i love and im making really good money (up to 100k a year)
Problem im having, I can finally afford to get another car i can enjoy.
I had financial issues about 3 years ago and had to give up my 06 sti and dreaded it, now im driving a pos...
Cant decide if i want to go down the project route again or just grow up and get a new car...
Everytime i think about a new car it sickens me because i know i wont have fun but at the same time if i get a project it will be a money pit...

Cars i was thinking about buying project wise:
Another subaru or evo
S15 ls1 swap
older m3 bmw
lexus sc300 with 2jzgte (love supras but to much)
foxbody mustang build
300zx TT

New Cars:
I work at honda so i would probably purchase a honda...
2016 Accord Sport (Sporty with good gas mileage and only 24k)
2016 Civic (Again, Sporty with good gas mileage)

HELP

Buy a project car that doesn't require gigantic investment to be fast and fun. There is your middle ground.

Subaru BRZ Limited 26k
Header
Exhaust
Wheels/Tires
Jackson Racing / edelbrock / vortech Supercharger

and you have yourself a lot of fun for under $40,000.

You won't have fun with a civic/accord....

Or, if you loved your STI so much, go buy a 2015+ wrx/sti

Nothing I said was over or anywhere near 50,000.

Getting an insane deal is nice, but you'll sacrifice any fun factor. Though, the new accord coupe is pretty sharp looking.

I have an 88 trans am in pinellas with a 350 4 bolt main bored .06 over with all forged internals, needs tires, body work, battery, maybe alternator, gas pedal, exhaust bracket or new exhaust, and interior

Motor probably has like 400hp out the crank, hooked up to a t400 I got from a top fuel racer

Its pretty rough on the street cuz of the lumpy cam but its fast and I'll give you a good deal
