That is what the truck is for lol. When we get ice the whole world shuts down. I still have to go to work though. 24/7 plant life and what not. That has only happened twice in the 6 years i've been there.
Last year we had our first real deal ice storm in 40 years. My county was hit hardest with ice accumulation. We had 2" on trees that haven't seen ice in like that before. All of the weaker oaks and nearly all of the long needle pines exploded. It sounded like a war zone outside. I was waiting for the next one to come through my skylight for 2 days. It happened at the end of january and the disaster relief crews were still cutting and chipping downed limbs in june. Non of our roads had been pruned for that kind of event.

So we may not see winter weather often but when we do it's bad. People in atlanta were calling it icepocalypse but they mainly got snow. Those of us a bit further south got hammered.
