Hello!

So it's time for me to get a new car, I've been looking to lease for 3 years - I don't want to own the car, I want a new car every 3 years. I did my research before coming here, and test drove both cars.

Note that I want an AWD sedan, and these 2 are the only ones I could find within my budget.

Subaru Impreza: Sports package AWD
Drives extremely well (very similar to a BMW actually) takes sharp turns perfectly and the car is very quiet. It comes with a sunroof, rear view camera, and mags. Rest is normal stuff (heated seats blabla)

Mitsubishi Lancer: SE AWC
Drives well on highway, responds very nicely. However, when driving @60km/h the car seems to stall? (it's hard to explain but it sort of feels like the car is about to brake) and then kick . It's as if it's stuck between 2 gears and then decides to shift gears with a kick. And this happens with an automatic transmission...
This car comes with the exact same features as the Impreza minus the rear view camera.

From the 2, the Lancer looks WAY nicer (I love the look and the color), the Impreza's inside is a lot nicer than the Lancer though.

The deals I got are:

Impreza: 375$ a month for 3 years, with winter mats (I know right...)
Lancer: 360$ a month for 3 years, with winter tires.

Mitsubishi is having a really strong sale right now, but I was wondering if I should wait a little longer for 2016 models to come out, or just lease the car right now?

Also, is the thing that the lancer was doing normal - i never felt it happening in any other car.

Looking for suggestions :D

Subaru.
Only Mitsubishi worth getting is an Evo but you're only looking to lease which imo is dumb.

You'll be inside the car so go with what you would rather sit in

Suby in this case.. If your buying a car with issues its setting yourself up for failure.

Sounds like money is tight, so any repairs down the road can be devastating. Go with the car with the least amount of issues, even if its leased!

Why do you want a car every 3 years?

Why not just own a vehicle?

There is a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty and a 10 year Power train warranty. If anything goes wrong, they're paying for it.

That sort of makes sense, but I enjoy being in a nice car :s

Actually money isn't tight at all, but like I said there's a warranty covering both cars for the duration of the lease.

I want a new car every 3 years, I don't have to pay for any major repairs, just oil and brakes. Everything else is covered.

I was thinking about it, but it's too expensive + it's too low for Montreal weather. The snow is gonna rek it.

its a $15 difference man, this thread doesn't make a whole lot of sense.. Choose the car you want to drive for 3 years if you dont have to worry about anything?..
