Looking to get a bike, with a price limit of 4000.

I've been looking at a lot, and I got to ride two of my buds. One was a cbr 600 and the other was a 03 R6.

I love the feel and the sound of the R6 so thats in first place so far. Is there anything when looking to get one, that I should be looking out for in specific, or any other general suggestions?

I found an 03 R6 with 32000 km, looks in great condition, I took it for a spin and felt awesome, I feel like its a good buy for a starter bike

Remember that bike seats can easily be changed and modified.. Same with ride height. Just ride both of them.

R6 is pretty much bullet proof if never been raced. I never liked the fell of a CBR either. GSXR is the most comfortable imo, but they have known stator issues. If you look into a GSXR just make sure the stator and regulator have been changed.

R6 is a good bike. Can't go wrong with it honestly.

What didn't you like about the CBR?

Never rode an r6, and the GSXR is by far my favorite ride.

It felt super tall. Like the seat was way up compared to my GSXR.

I think it was more the tank. the tank is skinny which made it feel tall and lean. That the same as a Duc 1199 feels. It's super tall and skinny

4000 usd?
not an expert here but if you're going for the 03 r6 make sure the year is correct and is fuel injected
32000km and it may need cam chain inspected soon
also never lower the seat height... keep that shit stock
id personally go for the cbr unless you're looking at a more recent model r6
