Lookoing to buy this guys mk3 Golf as a summer car. I don't know if It's a good call though. It's the VW/Audi Blue, it's gorgeous. 160k on it, manual 5speed, and he claims that its 9/10 interior with minor rust on the side skirts. Asking 1k I'd offer 800. What are your opinions?

if it doesnt blow up during the test drive its most likely worth 800.
worst case you a few hundred bucks worth of fun and scrap it.

It's a 2.0 with aftermarket BBS Rims. I'll e/ with a s/s

Depending which set of "aftermarket bbs rims", the cost of the car could be worth it in the rims alone.

Should tell you something about the condition of the car imo.

Cos I drove three versions of the car 1.4, 1.8 and 1.9D.
