so i saw the story this morning sometime about him being airlifted from the track and the first mention was just that he pulled off the side and needed medical help. then it was he got into the wall a little and they took him to the hospital as a precaution and that it was pretty routine treatment and that he was awake and alert etc. now they are saying it was a pretty hard right side impact with the wall and theres video of him on a stretcher with sheets blocking public view of him being moved to the helicopter.
what the fuck is going on at f1 that they are trying to pass this off like its not a big deal when it certainly appears more serious than they are saying? is it normal for them to hang sheets around so people cant see them transporting an injured driver?

Only if he is dead/mangled or if there is a lot of blood.
Motorsports need to collectively get their heads out of their asses. F1, NASCAR, NHRA, etc. They couldn't make worse decisions if they tried.
