Ok so I'm in the market for a new car as I just totalled mine (oops lol). I'm not looking for something old. I will be buying New or certified preowned because I want a warranty and would prefer to have no problems this car will be my daily driver. Additionally I like to fool around drifting and such and I think I may start doing some rally for fun. I would prefer rear wheel drive. I'm not necessarily looking for a hot rod. Just something reliable I can have fun with. I will be making payments with about a $5k down payment. I'd prefer to spend no more than $350.

So, what car is relatively new, practical, rwd, affordable, with good handling and weight distribution, and can handle rough terrain?

Thanks

Wouldn't a wrx be > than a brz in most aspects though for my intent and purpose?

Also please explain why y'all selected the car you chose.
