if that actually makes it to production it will most likely just be fully optioned out, not a stand alone model.
and they will probably price it around $60k+
and it probably won't offer a manual transmission.

They've already said its based around a GSR with a 5 speed. I wouldn't be surprised if its over $80k.

Oh look a $35,000 overweight underpowered car with 4wd going for over 60k

These things are known for having the worst 5 speeds ever, why go back to that, pretty sure every mitsubishi tranny ever was shit

480hp out of the motor 350 to the wheels, famous evo parasitic loss

Probably has wheel hop

This disgusts me

Wheel hop? I've driven a 400hp evo with a 2 step on stock suspension and it didn't have any wheel hop.. And the only time I've ever heard of a Getreg"sp?" Transmission on an evo fucking up is when the car is modified.. a stock evo driven under normal conditions isn't gonna nuke.. and of course it has a pretty large loss in power, it's AWD, must I explain why the power loss is so great? 90% of AWD cars have a significant loss in power, especially when you're not breaking 80k+ for the car..

Want a super car? Go buy an Audi R8.. want an affordable, moderately fun car? The evolution is for you.

Tl;dr

I'd buy one if my wife let me, lol.

You should see the loss we got through 4wd diesels... It was nothing to lose 200-300hp from the crank to the wheels by the time you went through an automatic and two transfer cases.

I disagree, for raw performance they're actually pretty good. I've driven both, owned a number of performance to luxury cars... and I definitely would pick up another sti when the time comes. If people are going to argue that you can build better, yeah no shit, anyone can build anything themselves for cheaper and better performance. But for off the factory floor, there aren't that many cars that have the power and are as fun for 35k

You think an sti should be worth less than $25k?......

That's rather silly.
