Hey guys, I've been looking around for a new car for a while, and I'm looking for suggestions. But first, somebackground knowledge.

My first car was an 03 Jetta wagon, and I loved it. But, my friend borrowed it on his prom night and totaled it.

My second car was an 04 Passat GLX wagon, that got stolen.

Now I REALLY like manual cars, and I liked German cars. Other than that, I'm still pretty new to driving. Could you guys perhaps offer a few suggestions of what to look for next?

New/Used. ( I've been looking at GTI's lately)

Also, no brz.

whats your ideal spending limit or amount you'd want to drop minimum on a new car.
where do you live
hows the weather

etc.

lots of things go into buying a car.

do you want something fast and sporty
or
something roomy and luxury.

MkV GTIs are sexy imo, 2-door candy white especially. Just make sure you get the one thats 08 or 09 where they went to tsi over tfsi in previous years. Imo the mkv is one of the better-looking bodies, and can be had for well within your price range.
