Blower is better than nitrous. It is constant power and never needs to be refilled, additionally I might add that it is my personal opinion that NOS is cheesy.

What i was pointing to supercharger hit the gas and power then add my powerglide with air shifting

For 8k if it is mainly a track car build a nitrous setup. $8k will barely buy a good blower setup.

Nitrous is only cheesy when it beats you.

Nice Snortbird btw, I used to have one of those was a fun car. But back on topic, I say why not install the blower, if done right you can have constant power not just for the track + you don't have to give this story "Oh you want to race? Ok cool let me go fill up my NOS and then it's on." It just seems like fake power to me.

Edit: Additionally nothing is sexier on an old school muscle car than a blower
