The stop delivery is an intercept that prevents customer recalls. An air bag and isolated e brake issue... big whoop.


Chrysler cut the price on the viper by 15k according to the same article. Since GM announced the c7 Z06 msrp they jave probably sold less than 10 vipers nation wide.

Who in their right mind would buy the Viper? @ 6k more..which was 21k more until the new z06 was announced.

I think Chrysler better stick to their bread and butter and make ONLY town and country's. Abandon the viper...

the viper is a superior vehicle to the corvette, always has been. Thats why people buy them.

obviously chrysler themselves realized this isnt true so much
otherwise the superior vehicle would stay at the higher price

why lower it to bring it closer to the vettes price if they are in different leagues

no... its not lol. Everybody here knows im a mopar guy. The viper isn't even a comparison anymore. The hellcat is more of a comparison than the viper

At 60k i think it's very attractive

why you lower price on something could be for infinite reasons.

its very well possible they want to compete price wise their lowest model viper with the slowvette.

the viper has many different models, ranging from 90k up to 400k.

the article said it was for the srt10 that the price is being reduced, not the ACR, GTS, GT3-R, etc

Go study some sales figures and get back to me.
