The B5 s4 is a car capable of 200 mph.

It is also one of the most notoriously difficult motors to work on. Only time consuming. My best friend owns, well owned a B5 s4 avant, his was stolen two weeks ago...which leads me to my second point.

They get stolen...a lot.

My buddy has a B5 S4. It's an awesome car, it pulls really hard and it sounds amazing with the Milltek exhaust. Only downside is like Andy said, any kind of engine work is complete bullshit. Expect to be pulling the motor to do the timing belt, servicing turbochargers, etc. All major engin*** work requires you to remove the engine. Obviously when you get adept at that you can have it out within a matter of a few hours or even less depending on how many times you've done it, still a hassle, but it's something you get used to with a car like that, especially if you like it to go fast, then expect stuff to be breaking often.

As far as reliability, which would be best? I REALLY like the s4 Avant because it's Jazz blue w/ the two tone blue/black interior however I want something to daily pretty damn well

just go for the s4 man, they are super sexy. pain in the ass to work on but sexy as all hell. I was minutes away from buying one but I backed out because it was an auto even though the auto handles more power I wanted a 6 speed. But 6 speeds are so damn rare, and usually cost 3-4k more where I am located. Didn't want to pay 12-13k for a 100k+ mile 10 year old car as my daily driver.

I love the 2 tone leather, then one I was looking at had the black and white interior, shit was pretty, low miles too only had 75k miles and was for 9000$

are you from europe? I would also look at is300's as they are in similar price range but come with a 2jz that can be easily turbo'd if you are in to that kind of thing. Not sure if they have them in europe or not, but they were the 2 cars I was looking at for a potential project/daily driver. the is300 is easy to work on, cheaper parts, and I feel has a sleeker look to it.

go with what you really like, or you will regret it later, even if it costs a bit more and isn't as reliable.
