So i been researching some stoof on my 2014 hemi challenger, and i was looking at head/cam packages and what not and was looking at the stock cfms on the 5.7 hemi and from my research i guess the bone stock 5.7 heads for 2009 and up challengers are the new eagle heads (which i knew) and out of the box flow 331 cfm. Which is quite a lot for bone stock considering the 6.1's cfm is only like 320 and the 6.4 is like 338.
so then that lead me to pondering. Since the 392/6.4 is pretty much a stroked 5.7 and the 5.7 head flow is almost identical to that of the 6.4/392 (which is 338-340cfm), i could just get a 392 stroker kit, but knowing me that wouldnt be enough so i went to arringtons site and seen they got a 6.7/410 stroker kit for only like $3500.. that paired with the head/cam package (wit comp 274 cam) will make a nice daily driver setup
i can easily make 625hp-650hp all motor for 8k less then if i was to buy an srt, which was the whole point to begin with. (buy a lower model and mod for more power then an srt for half the srt upgrade cost)
im not worried about the stock tremec 6speed transmission as it is safe to about 650hp, same with the stock twin disc clutch and lsd
