heads/cam setup for my lt1 would make that, with the supporting mods, ie suspension, rear end,trans it would probably run low 12s ish high 11s on a good day. However look at all these newer cars all of them putting 400+ to the wheels stock, with a few bolt ons their over 500 lol. how much is needed anymore to compete? i mean look at the acura TL, it puts out almost 300 itself.

My moms impala puts out 310 stock lol

when i bought the car, i bought it as a life long project. my baby for life. i could just sell my car, trade in my DD and get a new muscle car but im faithful lol. i dont want to sell it haha.

It is fast enough to have fun and will shaft 99.9% of cars you pass. The internet makes all of these 1000hp cars seem common. They aren't. How often do you hear something cammed? It's a huge investment to go to the next level.

true that, but still who doesnt want to break 500 hp and fly. its not like texas here where there are 600+ cars everywhere. i just need something to have fun with, crack into the 10 second zone, lift the wheels up and have fun. but if i can go faster whynot right?

Honestly about every other c6 z I see is cammed. I am happy about that...

For daily use I say 400-500 is plenty.

For tracking often...you'll always want to go faster...just have fun with it. Do other tracks etc
