Hey guys, this is the first time I've purchased a car without paying cash. I purchased a 2012 Mercedes C250 coupe. At first I enjoyed the car a lot, but after awhile it's nothing like the coupe/ sporty feel I was hoping for. Seeing as how I still owe so much on the vehicle, what are my choices? It's so recent that I haven't even registered the car yet, literally a few weeks. Will they simply let me return it? Or do I have to sell it, let someone else take over the loan? This is very new to me.

I want to get rid of it and purchase something else!

Talk to the dealer They may have an exchange program. Even if they don't, especially considering you haven't registered it yet(which makes no sense to me as where I am when you purchase from a dealer they register the vehicle for you), they may be able to cut you a deal. Your going to be out quite a bit regardless of what happens.

Buyer's remorse. You will probably get over it if you keep it.

So lets say I owe $26,000 on the car and sell it for $25,000. I pay the $1000, cut my loses and move on?

Yep. It's going to be a bigger difference than that unless the dealer you bought it from will take it back on trade like ride was saying.

I don't know any credible dealership that would let you return the car. If you leased you would be in a better situation as there is some creative things you can do to transfer a lease from one car to another.

Blame the car and argue until you aren't satisfied and get your money back.
