07' GMC Envoy Denali

V8 5.3

Not looking to drop a full exhaust into it because well, I just don't want to drop that kind of money on it. But I'm looking at muffler options, possibly the Flowmaster 40 series?

Really just want to improve the sound, but have a strong deep rumble. Anyone recommend anything here? Is the Flowmaster 40 with the 5.3 going to sound too forced or should I try the 50? Don't know a lot about this so throw some advice my way please and thank you fellas.

5.3 sounds great with a flow master 40 series. Can't go wrong. There.

Borla or magnaflow. Flows sound like ass on ls engines.

This is what I was thinking, I heard a few videos on youtube with that setup and it sounds good.

Also, what are some upgrades you guys would recommend? Going to get a Cold Air Intake (any suggestions on brand?) of course. What about a tuner?

Get some new springs, a cam and slap a turbo charger on it. Those 5.3s can take a beating

Borla muffler and drive it. A CAI will never pay for itself.

I work at a Chevy dealership and I've heard a ton of different exhaust on them. I run flow master 40s on my 6 liter. A lot if people run the k&n and I've heard good things about the bully dog gas programmers (expensive but tons of tunes and lots of maps to monitor your truck). At the end if the day, it's your truck. You're the only one that has to like it. The 5.3 is so vast and can be tuned so easily so you'll have lots if choices.
