I recently got all my coolant tubes replaced due to a really bad leak.

its been about 2 and a half months, now all the sudden after a few miles my car runs on hot. I've put anti freeze in its reserve and still nothing. it doesn't automatically go to hot but gradually over the course of 10-15 minutes.

then when i proceed to accelerate, the temp drops then when i stop the temp rises once more.

What could be the problem?

i have a 2005 Suzuki Forenza if that helps

Sounds like a thermostat, also check to see if your fan kicks in not sure what type of fan those have

If it cools off once you start moving it could be fan related, water pump related, or even a BHG.

Check to see if you fans turning on, then check thermostat, then rebleed your coolant if you still have the problem.

Also check your oil.

as air bleeds out of the system it will suck down more coolant ive seen engines do that for about a month before coolant levels would hold steady due to all the air finally being bleed off
