i know i know. I am honestly stuck between these two cars. I have not driven either one yet, Trying to go tomorrow or tuesday to get in both of them.

The car is going to be a fair weather car. Weekend cruiser / sunny day kind of deal. both cars will get HCIE/tune and that is it. (possibly a pulley on the mustang but doubtful)

Car #1 -- '10 srt8 challenger, all the options, manual, just under 20k miles for 32999 (dealer price)
Car #2 -- '07 roush 427R mustang, All the options minus sunroof, nav, backup cam) manual, 10k miles for 30999 (dealer price)

I'm sure i can knock the price down a little on both, both cars are at the same dealership actually.
I know a good bit about the srt8 cars, (more so the 6.4 rather than the 6.1) but i do not know near as much about that era of mustangs. Just looking for a little information and thoughts from some people and taking them into consideration. Possibly some troubles with each car that i dont already know about would also be appreciated. I'm not worried about the money aspect of this at all. I simply don't care for a lot of the newer technology on the '14 cars and have chosen older models that i like more. Not looking for other options either. i'd by a vette if i didnt have a kid on the way and be done with it lol

obviously the roush. its been scientifically proven that owning a challenger lowers your IQ, look at turbo_dodge for an example.

30k+ for a used 2007 mustang? Why the roush dude? For that price you could get a brand new 2013-2014

I don't much care for the 13-14's I've looked at them a bit lately and just don't like them. I like the 03-04 cobra as well but finding one in good shape costs the same as the 13-14 as well lol

I'm just trying to figure out what you like about the car, why not go with a 2007-09 shelby gt500 if you like the model? Those are definitely in the price range and you will probably be better off if you are getting a loan.

its got a supercharger but unless you're going to be modding it then its pretty much no faster than a 2011+ gt. You basically overpay for the roush brand IMO, especially the older ones. I would go with the gt500 if you are set on that model, especially when comparing it to the fat challenger. I'm not sure if you've seen the 2010 challengers curb weight/quarter times, but its kind of depressing for the engine that it has. I know you said you would be throwing kids back there so that might honestly be an option, as the mustang is pretty notorious for having nothing for leg room in the back seats.

What about the camaro's?

Just my .02
