Are Mitsubishis worth buying? My car just recently went down with the transmission so I'm buying another one, and I'm looking at a 2003 Silver Eclipse with 118k on it for 3.5k. Is 118k something I could work with with an Eclipse? I've never owned a Mitsubishi nor does anyone I know own an Eclipse.

I got an 2003 eclipse and pretty tired of being so low on the ground and not having any power on this car, other then that I don't have any problem with it on the mechanic or anything and the gas consumption is not to heavy.

I feel ya man. The one I'm looking at is a GS as well, shame it's only a 4 cylinder. How long have you had it?

I've got a 2013 RVR and a 2013 10th AE Lancer. They're nice dailies, CVT makes the transmission feel like it's slipping but you get used to it.
I've got 5 years of free oil changes on both of them and got the extended warranties for free.

Don't know much about older Mitsubishis though. I have no interest in modding the lancer either.

No.

They are notoriously unreliable.
