So decided to attempt to black out my side markers today to see what it would look like. The end result was much much better than anticipated.

Leading me to the question, should I try and do my tail lights?
Or is the smoked taillights too teenagerish? I can't find any pics of liquid red g8s with stock smoked tail lights online to even get an idea. Only ones with the smoked spyder leds

If you think it looks good then why care about others opinions.

I love the Side markers being black, that's not changing at the moment.

I'm asking about the tail lights because I don't know if ill like it or not
I haven't Seen a red g8 with smoked tails to use as comparison

It's not my style but smokes tails do look good with a red car.

I don't care for tinted tails but if you do go ahead and do it get it done with film. The flat from the spray tint never looks good.

Film would look pretty good on it.

I used to have tinted plastic covers that went over my lights, and went on with Velcro. Which was nice because I had the look during the day, but took them off at night for safety purposes.
